Profile[]
"Survival is all that truly matters."
One of a handful of survivors from the war-destroyed colony of Combatron, Starchamber abandoned her decimated homeworld for the vast uncharted regions of space, surviving by bounty hunting and privateering for whomever would meet her price. A steelly, professional soldier, she prefers hard fact, action and practicality to idealology or sentiment; nevertheless, she is exceptionally creative in combat. In space fighter mode, she is capable of faster-than-light travel. In rifle mode, she can fire a precision energy beam at a distance of up to 10 miles. In root mode, she is capable of independent flight.
History[]
Sergeant Major Starchamber of the Glorious Combatronian People's Army (22nd Orbital Assault Brigade) is one of the few surviving members of the Combatron colony world. After the disappearance of the colony's leader, Megatronus Prime, Combatron fell into a civil war as the ranking generals decided on who would lead the old fashioned way: by killing everyone who disagreed. After a million years, when the nucleon bombs had been dropped and the mounds of corpses were piled high as mountains, Starchamber finally rebooted out of stasis lock to a radiated apocalyptic wasteland which seemed to have her as the sole occupant. Scavenging for energon and replacement parts, Starchamber searched for survivors but found no one. Once she was repaired enough for flight, she abandoned her ruined homeworld and took to the stars.
For the next two million years she became a mercenary across the galaxy, selling her abilities as a soldier for parts and fuel as she searched for other Combatronian survivors, hearing of rumors but never finding them in the mesh. Eventually she returned to the "motherworld" - Cybertron - and found the long lost rebel heroes of her colony. Starchamber joined the Decepticons under Onslaught's command, thoroughly pleased both to be among her kindred and on a world at the precipice of her favorite occupation: War.
Skills[]
Xenosurvival, Marksmanship, Tracking, Battlefield Tactics, Military Psychology, Being a member of the GLORIOUS COMBATRONIAN PEOPLE'S ARMY, War: It's Fantastic.
Notes[]
Starchamber has a dual meaning: The star chamber on an AR-15 military rifle is the part of the rifle that holds the bullet and locks it into place for firing. It's also a reference to her solar fusion core, a literal 'star chamber'.
